📢 NO SIGN-UP REQUIRED! 📢

Is your child fast on their feet and ready for some fun? The Calf Scramble is open to all kids in the grandstands during the show! When the announcer calls for the scramble, just head down to the arena gates.

🏃‍♂️ Age Groups:

- 8 and Under

- Ages 9 to 12

🛑 Safety First, Parents: * Use the Gates Only: For your child's safety, please do not lift them over the railing or drop them into the arena dirt.

Have an Exit Plan: We lose track of kids every year! Please instruct your child on their entrance and exit before they head down. Tell them they must return to the exact same gate they entered.

No adults are allowed on the dirt during the scramble, but our trusted rodeo crew will be out there making sure everyone stays safe and has a blast! 🐂💨

Hey Rodeo Fans! 🤠 Want to get your boots dusty? We’ve got some incredible events lined up for the kiddos during the show!

Here is what you need to know before you go:

Mutton Bustin’: This event required pre-registration and is now officially closed. Good luck to all our little mutton busters!

The Calf Scramble: No sign-up needed! Just listen for the announcer's call during the show. We have two age groups:

Little Rascals (Ages 8 & under)

Junior Wranglers (Ages 9 to 12)

⚠️ CRUCIAL SAFETY RULES: 1. DO NOT put your child over the grandstand railing or drop them into the arena. Use our designated gates at the Northwest and Northeast corners by the chutes.
2. Talk to your child before they go down: Every year we lose track of kids in the excitement. Please instruct them to exit through the exact same gate they went in so you can easily find them!

Check out the map or look for our gate staff when you arrive. Let’s make some memories! 🐎✨

Parents and Guardians, please read carefully!

The gates are officially closed—Mutton Bustin’ is completely FULL! 🤠🐑

All official acceptance and confirmation emails have been sent out. As a reminder, the contestant must have a copy of this email to get free admission into the rodeo grounds. # # # 📩

What you need to do right now:

Check your Junk/Spam folders! Sometimes these official confirmations get filtered out by accident.

Our committee will be moving completely out into the arena to prep for the big show. Starting this evening, we will be unable to respond to messages frequently. If you have checked your spam and still have questions regarding check-in, weight limits, or logistics, please DM us immediately so we can get you squared away before the chaos begins!

We would love for you to participate in our theme nights!
🇺🇸Thursday will be Military and First Responders Appreciation night. Be sure to wear your patriotic attire. Also, we would love for military and first responders to enjoy half-priced tickets! Just be sure to have your identification on you when going to the ticket office!
💗Saturday night is Tough Enough to Wear Pink night. Show your support for those that have fought or are currently fighting breast cancer by wearing your best pink get up!

It has come to our attention that CBS Channel 19 is airing the wrong dates for the rodeo.

We are working to get that corrected as soon as possible!

The dates for the 2026 Gladewater Roundup Rodeo is June 10-13th with Taco Tuesday Slack Night June 9th.
