Fall season is quickly approaching. The fall season is a great time to figure things out before the spring season. It is also a great time for beginning athletes to try the sport without a lot of investment since it is a much shorter season. Any new athletes that would like to give it a try this fall, there will be a parent meeting on August 25th @ 5:30-6:30 in the GHS Commons Area for any NEW athletes.

-Open to 7th-12th grades
-September 7th @ NOON registration closes…no if, and, or buts!
-Fall Season Dates: Week of September 13th - Week of October 18th…we meet @ Greenbush every Sunday afternoon and Wednesday evening for those wanting additional practice unless communicated otherwise.
-Cost: $200…which covers the 6 week fall league. The team will cover $56 of the fees per athlete this season to help offset cost.

Well, that’s a wrap on our 2026 spring season with the conclusion of the State Championship tournament this past weekend in Wichita with twenty athletes from Girard attending. The improvement of this team continues to impress! We had a great weekend and many athletes showed up to put on quite a performance for Girard High School. While falling just short of some hardware, there is nothing to be disappointed about with the way they shot with many PR’s over the weekend. Some notable results from the weekend posted below.

75 Straight - Nathan Garbrick and Mason Crozier

50 Straight - Gavin Jackman

25 Straight - Sammy Blair, Carson Crozier, Jack Newberry

Varsity Team tied for 4th place with a score of 483/500. Team members were Nathan Garrick, Mason Crozier, Gavin Jackman, Sammy Blair, and Jack Newberry/August Amershek.
