Assistant Superintendent
No experience required. Ideal candidate will like working outdoors and is willing to learn new skills. Position will require learning to operate/maintain the core turf equipment to maintain all areas of a golf course. Hire will be expected to obtain a Core and Category 6 pesticide applicator license (we pay for prep materials and exams.)
Starting at $16.00 an hour.
$2.00 pay raise after attaining Core and Category 6 License.
$1.00 pay raise after one month.
$1.00 pay raise after two months.
$1,000 bonus for finishing out season through November.
Position is seasonal with unemployment available during off season.
Average 50 hours working 6 days a week. Typical start is at 6:00 AM.
Greens Mower
Responsible for cutting greens and performing basic maintenance on the mower. A typical day would start at 6:00 AM taking around three hours. Tasks include mowing, repairing damaged areas on greens, removing small debris, washing mower, fueling, and greasing mower.
Starts at $15.00 an hour.
Rough Mower
Responsible for cutting rough with ten foot wide pull behind mower. A typical day would start around 8:00 AM taking between 6-8 hours. Tasks include mowing, basic tractor and mower maintenance, and moving stakes/signs to mow.
Starts at $15.00 an hour.
