It’s See You Later, Not Goodbye: As of 12/21/24, Blaze of Glory Fitness will be officially closing its doors and we thank everyone who has been along with us on this journey.

We opened our doors on June 1, 2016 with a tiny amount of equipment, a get-it-done work ethic, a tremendous amount of passion, and the hope of helping just one person. Flash forward to now and Blaze has helped more than 200 people achieve their goal of being a firefighter. On top of that, we have built a family (we call it Blaze Fam) that we are so proud of. Thank you for all the support over the past 8 1/2 years.

Run by past Blaze athletes and coaches, and also working Bay Area firefighters, they are an exceptional group of people with a vast amount of knowledge and a passion for helping others capture their firefighter dreams. To our friends, family, and fire community. Most of you know that I retired from the fire service in 2022. After long talks, Kristi and I have decided to retire from Blaze as well. We are ready to settle in and do some relaxing and traveling now. The Blaze community has been so good to us and such a rewarding experience. Not only have we seen many people reach their dreams of becoming a firefighter, we created a new family. With this said our Fire family wouldn’t allow this program to just go away. It must continue! We have handed the Blaze baton over to a few of the Blaze coaches. I am pleased to announce Fireline Fit. The core and concept of the program will be the same, as well as the location in Gilroy. Their social media is up and running as is their website so please go follow them. Fireline Fit will officially take over as of January 2, 2025. Thank you again for the past 8.5 years of support. 🚒

A huge congratulations goes out to current blazer Skye! Skye graduated from her volunteer fire academy and is now a volunteer firefighter with Santa Clara County Fire Department. I would also like to acknowledge past blazer Marina who also graduated! Congratulations to both of these amazing individuals. 🙌🚒💪🏻
