After 162 games of regular season play, while it's great to make it to the postseason, why do we leave our regular broadcast teams at home? They know our teams better than anyone else in broadcasting.
In the postseason give the fans the option to pay for simulcast coverage with our home broadcast team. The same TV director can run three broadcast booths with the same graphics and commercial breaks.
At just ten bucks a game we get to see our guys. Half the money raised can go to the team's charitable foundation.
And during these special postseason games, the broadcast crews can talk smack to each other. Good television, good baseball.
