ve decades of real world military, law enforcement experience as operators and instructors of law enforcement and civilian fi****ms users. They are all active law enforcement officers, knowledgeable, approachable and student focused. OUR GOAL IS TO MEET OUR STUDENTS WHERE THEY ARE AND ADVANCE THEIR SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE IN THE TIME THEY ARE WITH US.OUR STUDENT'S SUCCESS IS OUR ONLY OBJECTIVE. Gary Sams, the owner and lead instructor, at Gideon Defensive Solutions is a U.S. Army veteran where he served as a Team Sergeant assigned to a Long Range Surveillance Unit in the 101st Airborne Division. He has over 19 years of law enforcement experience in which he was assigned to patrol, special response unit, drug and general felony investigations. He has been a fi****ms instructor in every assignment undertaken. Gary is currently assigned a plain clothed duty as an investigative supervisor. Gary has over 1500 P.O.S.T. hours of fi****ms and tactical training and years of experience instructing the handgun, shotgun, and carbine. He has competed using each platform, and continues to train with the nation's premier instructors, specializing in small, light weight and concealable handgun systems.

Children's Ministry is working on their Christmas Play and will be holding try-outs on October 10th during regular service times. If your child is interested in a speaking or acting part, it is important to be here this day. If you can not be, please talk with Colleen Jacobson and different arrangements can be made.

SEE YOU AT THE POLE is about a month away!! September 22nd.

What is this you may be asking.
See you at the pole is an annual gathering of Christian students at school flag poles. It all began in 1990 with just 10 students praying at their school. Each year the number would grow and now on the fourth Wednesday of September, millions are praying together. It's simply a prayer rally where students meet before school starts to pray.
See you at the pole is a student initiated, student organized and student led event.

We want to encourage YOU to encourage your students to meet at their school's flag pole on September 22nd!

To all who have planned to attend Our Women's Only Defensive Handgun Class this Saturday, July 29th; we sincerely apologies as we will not be able to have class this weekend due to a scheduling conflict. Summer 2017 Schedule:

Saturday June 24: Introduction to the Defensive Handgun 8am-5pm: 4 hours class room 4 hour range time (shooting 150-200 rounds)
$175 You will get a certificate of completion that you can use to apply for a concealed carry permit.

Saturday July 29th: Women Only Introduction to the Defensive Handgun 8am-5pm: 4 hours class room 4 hour range time (shooting 150-200 rounds)
$175 You will get a certificate of completion that you can use to apply for a concealed carry permit.

Saturday August 12th: Extreme Close Quarter 8am-5pm all range time
$175.00 (200-250 rounds)

Saturday August 19th: Introduction to the Defensive Handgun 8am-5pm: 4 hours class room 4 hour range time
(shooting 150-200 rounds)
$175 You will get a certificate of completion that you can use to apply for a concealed carry permit.

Saturday September 30th: Vehicle and Travel Safety 8am-5pm
4 hours class room and 4 hours range time. Range time includes shooting at, in, and around a vehicle (super fun)
$175 You will get a certificate of completion that you can use to apply for a concealed carry permit.

All our classes include training by a certified instructor, certificate of completion, lunch, and handouts.

Due to changes in policy at the range, all classes require a minimum of 4 people and a max of 10.
