Energy Classic Basketball Tournament

The Energy Classic Basketball Tournament was started in Gillette Wyoming in 1998.

It has grown to become one of the top boys and girls high school basketball tournaments in the country. Featuring teams from all over the United States and Canada, this tournament offers great competition, a friendly environment, and unmatched hospitality!

Please join the Energy Classic Committee in welcoming the Wheatland Lady Bulldogs to the 2026 tournament.

Wheatland is coming off a 19-5 record and a 3A Wyoming state championship. Featuring senior guard Lily Anderson who last year broke the Wyoming single season scoring record (807 points) , this team promises to make some waves in 2026.

The Energy Classic Committee is excited to welcome back the girls team from Lynwood High School of Lynwood, CA to the 2026 tournament.

The lady Knights have one of the most storied girls basketball programs in the state, most notably known for breaking the California state record with 30 consecutive league titles under legendary head coach Ellis Barfield. They are a perennial contender for the Energy Classic championship.

The Energy Classic Committee is excited to welcome boys and girls teams from West Central High School of Hartford, SD to the 2026 tournament.

The boys are coming off a perfect 25-0 season and a Class A South Dakota state championship. They are sure to be a force in this year's field.

The lady Trojans are coming off of a solid 2025-26 season with 19-6 overall record and a perfect 6-0 Region 3 record.

The Energy Classic Committee is proud to announce boys and girls teams from class 5A Granger High School of West Valley City, UT as competitors in this years tournament.

The boys are coming off a rebuilding year, but return 9 of their top 10 players and 95% of their scoring. 3rd year head coach Jason Chandler played in the Energy Classic in the early 2000's and is ready for the high level competition.

The lady Lancers are coming off of their best season in 12 years and return their top player who averaged 15 points and 11 rebounds in the 2025-26 season.

The Energy Classic Committee is excited to announce Crete High School of Crete, NE as a participant in the 2026 boys bracket!

The Crete High School Cardinals boys basketball team compete in Class B (District 6) of the Nebraska State Athletic Association. Under Varsity Head Coach Tony Siske, the Cardinals wrapped up their 2025–26 season with an impressive 17–8 overall record and finished first in their district. They come into the 2026 Energy Classic poised to show what they've got!

The Energy Classic Committee is excited to welcome Aurora Christian High School of Chicago, IL to the 2026 boys bracket.

Competing in the highly competitive Chicagoland Christian Conference, the Aurora Christian High School boys varsity basketball team finished their 2025–26 season with an impressive 22–8 overall record and captured an IHSA Class 2A Regional Championship.

The Energy Classic Committee is thrilled to announce the addition of Hillcrest High School of Idaho Falls, ID to the 2026 boys and girls brackets.

The boys have reached the 5A state championship 5 of the last 9 years, collecting two titles along the way. Coming off a rebuilding season in '25-'26 they will be a force in the '26-'27 season.

The lady Knights finished their '25–'26 varsity season with an overall record of 15–12 and a 6–4 conference record, placing second in the 5A High Country Conference. They relied heavily on their underclassman and are poised to make a big splash in th'26-'27 season.
