October 2nd!

🚒 Gilbertville Fire & Rescue is proud to be able to do TWO Fill the Boot fundraising nights for MDA in our community over the next month!

A HUGE thank you to Don Bosco for allowing us to set up our Fill the Boot table at both a volleyball game (Sept 17th) and a football game (Oct 2nd). Your support makes opportunities like this possible, especially in a small community like ours, and we truly appreciate it! 💙💛

We’re excited to be part of the long-standing partnership between firefighters and the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). For years, firefighters across the country have come together to Fill the Boot and help support individuals and families affected by muscular dystrophy and related diseases.

We hope to see you at both events! Come out, enjoy the game, and help us Fill the Boot! 🥾🚒

The defensive Sword Award is back! Each week the player that gets the most points will get a sword sticker to add to their helmet. At the end of the year the athlete with the most points will get their name on a plaque next to the sword to be on display at the school.

Congratulations Kyler Sallis with 5 tackles, 2.5 TFLs, and .5 sacks! ⚔️
