After another rainy week, James and I have decided to close the polo field early this season. Maintaining the grass field has become unmanageable at this point. We are focusing our energies to putting away the infrastructure on the polo field for the season and then to re group for next year.

Grateful for the several shows we did host in 2023. Thank you to everyone who supports our shows!

Regrettably we are once again cancelling our show this year. We will NOT be hosting our second Chensego Hunter Show on September 9th.

Getting the field prepared in time for Saturday, sepcifically the grass management, is more than we can do at this time. Also, there is a fair amount of rain forecasted over Saturday.

This year has been very fustrating for all due to the very wet season.

What a gorgeous day yesterday was to host a horse show on the polo field. The ground took the water from Saturday’s storms very well. Thank you, as always, thank you to our judges, secretary, staff and all the people that help with simple things like handing out ribbons and picking up manure and garbage, so we can host these shows.

We will run our second Hunter / Jumper Show in two weeks- August 13th, 2023.

Hunter Ring Schedule July 30th.

9am schooling opens
10am Hunter ring with 2’6” and 2’9” divisions,
*Schooling break*
Noon (not before) Leadline, Walk/trot and beginners
*Schooling break*
2pm (not before) 2’0” and 2’3” divisions

Jumper ring will start at 18” at 11am ish. Entries are light. Gate will be flexible.
