🚨6 WEEK SHRED 🚨

We have decided to bring back the 6 Week Shred that you guys absolutely killed a couple months back as a little pre holiday prep! That’s right, we start Monday and it goes right up until the week before Thanksgiving!!

We are doing 6 weeks of 2 x’s per week training AND our HIIT unlimited for $250.
-
With this you are able to work with us individually twice per week, come in for as many of the HIIT workouts as you’d like, AND come in to work off the board on your own any time I’m in the studio. We will also dive into your nutrition as well!

We will only be offering this through the end of the weekend!

We also decided to run a weight loss challenge as well over this 6 weeks! We know people are always looking for a challenge so here ya go!

1 PLATE HAS 400 CALORIES, THE OTHER HAS 275.

Can you guess which plate has the lower calories?

Maybe the plate with the smaller portion- The Pop Tarts?
❌Wrong❌

The plate on the left (two pumpkin pie Pop Tarts) holds a whopping 400 calories (70c, 14f, 4p) for the two pastries.

The plate on the right is 275 calories (30c, 5f, 33p) and more nutrient dense.

The biggest shock between these servings is that the plate on the right will fill you up with the density of food, while the plate on the left will leave you hungry and wanting more.

This visual can help people understand that while you *can* have the Pop Tarts by making it fit into your calories, it is not the smartest decision. You can see how easy it is to go over your calories with choices like the left plate.

The right plate (Baked chicken with seasoning, steamed green beans with salt, baked butternut squash with salt and pepper, and two servings of ketchup) will fill you up, satisfy your macros, and leave you room for a small treat and still be under the calories than if you ate the Pop Tarts.

💥Hip Thrust Do’s and Dont’s 💥

DO
- Keep your chin tucked
- Envision your hips being pushed up and forward
- Extend the hips until your body is parallel with the floor
- Make sure your shins are roughly vertical to the ground

DON’T
- Lean your head back
- Envision your hips being pushed up and back
- Over extend the hips where it breaks parallel
- Let your feet become too for forward or behind you

Happy Saturday! The weather has been great so I took advantage of it in my last workout. One of my favorite cardio moves is walking lunges with kettle bells. It’s cardio plus hypertrophy. Which means your legs and your lungs will be blasted!

A quick finisher for the legs. If you’re short on time or enjoy pain, give this a try. The goal is to get 3 trips (down and back is one) in 1:30 sec. After two rounds you should have no gas left in the tank. -

Even though it’s timed, the main goal is to keep proper form and feel the target muscles working! Give it a try and let me know what you think 💭
