This one was CLOSE.

Buffalo Trace takes it by the slimmest of margins over 1792 in this week’s Duffers Review showdown.

1792 — 4/5 Premium Shots

Buffalo Trace came in smooth, balanced, and easy to enjoy with notes of caramel, vanilla, oak, and just enough spice to keep it interesting. A very easy pour whether you’re sipping it neat or over a rock.

1792 brought a little more punch with a bolder profile. You get deeper spice, oak, caramel, and a stronger finish that whiskey drinkers will definitely appreciate. It’s solid, but Buffalo Trace just edged it out on overall drinkability.

If you’ve got room in the cabinet, honestly both deserve a spot. But if we’re splitting hairs… Buffalo Trace gets the nod.

I saw you out there on the back of the yacht hitting balls on the golf sim. 👀⛳

Not bad. Not bad at all.

Now I’m 50/50 on that setup…

Trying to hit golf balls while the boat is moving, waves rocking, wind blowing, balance all over the place?

That’s either absolute chaos…

Or low-key genius training for Duffers Rules. 😂

Because out here, we don’t always get perfect lies.
We don’t always get perfect conditions.
And we definitely don’t get perfect swings.

So I’ll give you credit where credit is due…

I like it.

But let’s not get too comfortable on the yacht, Kevin.

The real challenge is still waiting.

💪🔥 EMBRACE THE SUCK 🔥💪

Today was one of those days.

I was tired.

The kind of tired where you’ve already convinced yourself you’ve done enough.

I was in the backyard working on my short game, putting in some practice, and then Wifey asked:

“Want to go to the gym?”

My first thought?

“Nope.”

Then I walked inside to fold some laundry and sitting right on top was my shirt…

EMBRACE THE SUCK.

And just like that, the excuses disappeared.

Because the days you feel great are easy.

The days you DON’T want to do it?

Those are the days that matter.

Those are the days that build discipline.

Those are the days that separate people who talk about goals from people who chase them.

So I looked at the shirt, looked at myself, and said…

F IT. LET’S GO.

🏋️ Got the workout in.
⛳ Got the practice in.
✅ Got better today.

And Kevin…

If you’re out there…

I refuse to let you outwork me.

Not on the golf course.
Not in the gym.
Not on the days when motivation is nowhere to be found.

Because motivation comes and goes.

Discipline shows up anyway.
