Taking a look at Australian Olympian today.

She has a great sprint freestyle, and great technique.
Looking specifically at how balanced her stroke is, as well as the timing.

with some amazing Breaststroke technique.

Keeping the elbows at the surface, pulling high in the water.

Great example of sculling and sweeping the hands in and up on the pull.

So important to study technique. is another great example of a flatter butterfly, and she does it in the 200 Fly!

While the flatter Butterfly is a little less common, her and Summer McIntosh are to fantastic examples to look at.

is a great example of Sprint Freestyle.

Shoulder driven.

Rolling the shoulders under the chin. Arm anchored down into position. Snap the elbow, and move the body past the anchor point.

Much to be learned here!

is a GREAT example of setting up the catch in Backstroke.

Early, high, and shallow.

As soon as his hand dips in the water it swings right around to the side, getting the palm and forearm facing back and pressing on the water.

Looking at .marchand31 Butterfly Breakout.

Details are everything in swimming, and ESPECIALLY in Breakouts to maintain the speed from his phenomenal underwaters.

Let’s take a look at the timing and position.

Another WORKOUT WEDNESDAY 😎

Here is a great set we did, on a Monday, Long Course.
Working through the energy systems.

Many technical focuses here. Looking for max engagement and focus to avoid decay in this type of set.

Maintaining stroke quality as effort increases.

is an Australian Olympian who was one of the best Breaststrokers in the world.

One of the things that she was phenomenal at was getting into a streamlined position after each stroke.

Closed up streamline, tight, horizontal, and slipping through the water.

So proud of .rence as she will be heading to swim at the

She’s gonna have a big 4 years there both in and out of the pool. Serving our country as well 🇺🇸

Proud of her and can’t wait to see what she will accomplish

has a great pulling motion for a powerful sprint free.

Deeper on the pull, holding water up his arm, and specifically here the way he finishes his put is great.

He pushes to help of his hand band, letting there be extension in the wrist.
Allowing him to maintain grip on the water for a long time.
