If you have employees in Washington, you are required to have a written safety program.
Most businesses have one. Almost none of them say a word about violence, threats, or what happens when an employee comes to you frightened of a customer, an ex, or a coworker.
That is not negligence. It is what happens when safety lands on the plate of someone who also runs hiring, scheduling, payroll, and the actual business. Big companies hire a person for this. A safety manager in Washington runs about $100,000 a year. Most of us are never going to do that.
So I built the other option.
One working day. October 20, 9:00 to 4:30, at my studio in Gig Harbor. You do not sit and watch slides. You build your own documents in the room, with help, and you take them home finished.
By 4:30 you walk out with:
• A written determination of which rules actually apply to your business
• A hazard assessment of your actual building
• The violence section of your safety program, drafted
• A threat assessment team with your people named in it
• A twelve month training calendar
• A ninety day plan with owners and dates
Lunch, snacks, and your working binder included. The first ten companies to enroll also get a full year of our threat assessment and reporting software free ($2997 value).
Registration is $897, or $497 for a second person from the same company. Seating is limited because the room has to stay small enough that everyone actually finishes.
