We’re excited to welcome Trent & Taber Mongero and the Dirt Bro Elite Infield Academy to The Dugout Training Facility in Gibsonville!

📅 October 10–11, 2026
⏰ 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM each day
🎓 Grades 6–12

This is two full days of high-level infield development designed for serious players who want to take their defensive game to another level.

Players will work on:

⚾ Elite throwing mechanics
⚾ Advanced footwork & movement
⚾ Glove work and fielding efficiency
⚾ Infield IQ & situational awareness
⚾ Pre-game and practice routines
⚾ Mental toughness & competitive mindset
⚾ The skills and standards college coaches and professional scouts look for

Training will be led by Trent Mongero alongside Taber Mongero, current UNCW Infield Coach & Director of Player Development and former 4-year Division I starting shortstop.

This isn't your typical camp filled with endless fungos. The Dirt Bro philosophy is “Game Speed. Game Challenge.” Everything is designed to translate directly to game performance.

Parents are encouraged to stay and watch the instruction so they can take home the same drills, terminology and teaching points their athletes receive.

Week 7 ended with a great Baseball game and opening up a hobby box of baseball cards. The kids had a great week with a lot of conditioning and training from some of the best The Dugout Training Facility has to offer.

Big shout out to Seth Chavez Kristian Amaro and Matt Reed

Hayden Wheeler is a staple every week helping out with the athletes.

Thanks again to Alpha Athletics and Kristy Albright for leading the daily Strength and Conditioning classes.

Summer camp The Dugout Training Facility was a huge hit this year. I am thankful to the parents and staff for everything they put into creating the best experiences for the athlets. We look forward to many more camps!!
