Coach Seth Chavez – Pitching Instructor

After competing at the highest levels of amateur and professional baseball, Seth Chavez is passionate about helping the next generation of players reach their potential. Seth played SEC baseball for University of Kentucky before beginning a professional career that included time with the Tampa Bay Rays organization and the Detroit Tigers organization.

Drawing from years of experience facing elite competition, Seth specializes in pitching mechanics, velocity development, arm care, command, and building confidence on the mound. His goal is to provide players with the same knowledge, training habits, and mindset that helped him succeed at both the collegiate and professional levels.

Whether working with beginners or advanced athletes, Seth is committed to creating a positive learning environment where players can develop sound fundamentals, compete with confidence, and achieve their baseball goals.

The first week of camp has been a success, thanks to Alpha Athletics' daily training sessions. Kristy Albright's knowledge of strength and conditioning is unparalleled, and this was evident in our athletes' progress. Our focus on baseball fundamentals, including hitting and fielding techniques, was complemented by an emphasis on enjoyment and sportsmanship. We are exploring the launch of our Future Stars Development Academy for baseball players ages 7-10 and would love to gauge interest from families before finalizing the roster.
