I forgot to consider the pageant when making the soccer schedule and we want all the little princesses participating to have sufficient time to prepare. We are going to postpone both soccer games Saturday morning. Thank you and good luck to all the girls!

The Glascock County Sheriff’s Office has been made aware of a scam involving individuals calling citizens and falsely claiming to represent Sheriff Jeremy Kelley or the Glascock County Sheriff’s Office.

The caller is telling residents they have missed a court appearance and must pay fines immediately to avoid arrest. These calls are fraudulent.

The Glascock County Sheriff’s Office will never call and demand payment over the phone, request gift cards, wire transfers, cryptocurrency, or any other immediate form of payment to avoid arrest.

If you receive one of these calls:
• Do NOT provide any personal information
• Do NOT send money
• Hang up immediately
