Had a wild and fantastic turkey hunt in Menard County, IL this morning and was blessed to harvest a longbeard at 10:54 a.m. He weighed 19 lbs even with 7/8” spurs and a 10 inch beard!

Made a road trip down to Cumberland County today and had a great/successful hunt this morning! I harvested this longbeard that weighed 20 lbs, had a 9 3/4 inch beard, and 3/4 inch spurs! 22

What a spring!! I connected on my third nice longbeard this spring! This gobbler was taken at one of the state IRAP sites! 18 pounds 2 ounces. 10.5 inch beard and 1 1/4 and 1 5/16 inch spurs! 21

Blessed with the chance to hunt a great farm today and was able to harvest a dandy longbeard this morning. It weighed 22 pounds even, with an 11.5 inch beard, and 1 5/16 inch spurs. Pics aren’t great, but I didn’t have anyone to take any good ones. County #20

What a hunt this morning in Clark County! Harvested my first ever double bearded gobbler along with longest spur! 22 lbs 2 ounces with a 11.5 inch and 5.5 inch beards and 1 and 1/2 inch spur with the top of the other spur was broke off! 19
