It is with sad news that our Varsity Coach, Steven Briggs, is retiring after coaching our Carlson Girls for the last 13 years! With 30 years of coaching under his belt and the last 13 here as a Marauder we want to make sure we send off Coach Briggs with a bang!

Please come show your support for our 2024 Girls soccer team as well as showing our love and appreciation for all that Coach Briggs has done for our program during our appreciation night!

Due to weather / temperatures and school being closed; we’re delayed on our start of preseason conditioning. Aiming to try again tomorrow (Thursday Jan 18th 7-8:30).

Thank you to Jefferson Event Center (5474 W Jefferson) for handling our end of season banquet. Very nice venue and in Owner, Teri and her staff did an excellent job for us.

Coach Briggs took a few pies for the team last night.
Our Girls Soccer program worked with Flex Fundraising for our fund raiser this past spring. We raised a little over $5500. One of the incentives for players; raise $50 or more in one donation they could pick music to play at practice OR a pie to the face of Coach.

Kristine Piatt-Bakos, we thank you for 4 great years and wish you the best in your next step. Trine University is luck to have you as part of their program.

…and after this signing; she scored a 3 goals and had 3 assists our 8-0 District match. This was her final soccer match in Marauder Stadium.

On the field, Carlson & Riverview played some great soccer last night. 0-1 JV

Off the field, Carlson & Riverview raised some money to help fight cancer for the American Cancer

Carlson Marauders Girls' Soccer is having a fund raiser and asking for your help. Great success!!!
Raised SOME money for The American Cancer Society.

First annual Cancer Awareness matches with Carlson Marauders Soccer hosting Huron Chiefs Jr Varsity team and Trenton Trojans Varsity team.
All three programs sold raffle tickets for 3 key prizes:
3rd prize - wooden porch sign/planter was won by LeeAnn Emelian
2nd prize - Red Wings signed puck by Dylan Larkin was won by Megan Oikarinen
1st prize - 65" TCL smart Roku TV was won by Kellee Renner

Additionally, the Carlson parents with some help from Trenton put together raffle baskets and then we also had a 50/50 raffle.

Along with our sponsor, Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan, the Robert J. Roll Agency the three programs were able to raise $6874 for The American Cancer Society.
