What an incredible turnout on Saturday. I’m sorry I couldn’t make it back out on Sunday—it was a dedicated “dad day” with my daughter before I head out of town this week.

If anyone would like to use these photos, feel free! And if you’re interested in the raw images, I’m offering them for $20, with half of the proceeds going back to support the RAD club.

It was great seeing everyone out there—wishing you all an amazing disc golf season ahead.

I had the chance to capture moments from the Prairie Open this Saturday at Johnson’s Park.

If you’re interested in purchasing any photos, they’re available for $20—half of the proceeds will be donated back to Johnson’s Park. You’ll receive both the raw and edited versions, along with any additional shots I may have captured. I tend to shoot in bursts, so there’s a good chance I caught more than just one moment.

I didn’t make it over to Parkside—I wanted to stay and capture as many players as I could. I’ve seen firsthand the time, effort, and care that the local disc golf community puts into maintaining this course. This is simply my way of giving something back.

Huge thanks to Josh Hamm and Riverside Disc Golf for putting on a great event. And to everyone in Racine who continues to put in the work to clean up, improve, and shape this course into what it is today—thank you. It’s quickly become my home course.

For those who traveled in and don’t usually play here, I hope you truly enjoyed your time at Johnson’s Park.

We are especially grateful to Paul Ulibarri for traveling to our (very cold) corner of the Midwest to serve as our featured guest and for delivering two outstanding days of clinics. His time, expertise, and passion for the sport made a lasting impact on everyone involved.

Two weeks have passed since the U.S. Women’s Disc Golf Championship concluded here in Wisconsin, and the sense of pride still resonates deeply within our community. Hosting such a prestigious event in our own backyard was not only an honor- it was a celebration of talent, dedication, and the spirit of the sport.

As we look back, it’s almost surreal to think that this incredible gathering of athletes, fans, and volunteers unfolded right here at home. To commemorate the experience, we’ve gathered a few interviews with those who played a role in bringing this event to life.
