Bobby Lanier Farm Park - Germantown Germantown's Bobby Lanier Farm Park is a 10-acre education and demonstration center for sustainable living through agriculture and stewardship.

We are a public park open dawn to dusk and during special events. HISTORY
Phase I opened June 20, 2012 with unique outdoor programs suited for families and young children. The Farm Park features a Community Garden, 4-H Youth Garden, Herb Garden, Orchard & Meadow. The Farm Park Farmers's Market operates at C.O. Franklin Park, 7725 Poplar Pike, Thursdays, 4 to 7:30 p.m., June to October. Public access to the Farm Park is next to Germantown Elementary School, 2660 Cross Country. The park is behind Red Devil Field near Cloyes Soccer Fields. Directional signs will be posted. DETAILED DIRECTIONS:
From Hacks Cross Road...
West on Farindon (right if coming from Poplar Pike or left if coming from Winchester)
Turn right onto Cross Country Road
Turn into the parking lot next (right after) to Germantown Elementary School- follow the signs to the Farm Park. From Germantown Road...
East on Stout Road
Turn onto Farm Road just before the Fire Station. Follow the signs to the Farm Park.

First Place Flowers at the Delta Fair! 🌺🏆

We are thrilled to share that the Bobby Lanier Farm Park brought home some blue-ribbon honors from the Delta Fair gardening competition!

Guess what? CHICKEN BUTT. 🐔

Now that we’ve got that out of our system… Happy ! To celebrate our favorite feathered comedians, here are 3 facts that prove chickens are low-key geniuses:

🦖 T-Rex Royalty: Chickens are the closest living relative to the Theropod suborder of dinosaurs—aka the Tyrannosaurus Rex. Respect the tiny dinos!

🧠 Elephants of the Farm: They can recognize and remember over 100 different faces (humans included—so yes, they remember who brings the snacks).

💬 Chatty Birds: They communicate using over 30 distinct vocalizations, each conveying a specific meaning. Alarm calls for different types of predators and “bring me snacks” are among the top noises you will hear.

Come test their memory and say hi to the flock at Farm Park all month long! 🌾✨

Farm Park Fridays are returning to the Bobby Lanier Farm Park for a special Fall Harvest Series! Mark your calendars for two magical autumn evenings at the farm:

Fee: $5, children under 1 get in free!
Craft your own autumn lantern, take a twilight guided walk through the farm trails and cozy up around the campfire for a big-screen movie! 🍿 Hot c***r available for purchase!

🎃 The Great Pumpkin Smash & Autumn Photos

Attention local mamas! Join us for a special Local Mama Meet Up at Bobby Lanier Farm Park in partnership with FIT4MOM!

Here is what’s in store for a fun morning with your little ones:

10 a.m. – Stroller-Friendly Workout: Get moving with a fun, energizing workout designed for moms and stroller-bound kiddos!

11 a.m. – Storytime & Craft: Gather ‘round for a reading of “So Much Love to Give” followed by a fun craft activity.

🐶 Special Guest Appearance: We are excited to welcome the Germantown Animal Shelter along with dog trainer Rowdy Run Co.!
