international community in 1968. It was founded as a nondiscriminatory
haven for international families to escape the city and
enjoy a stress-free environment. Bretton Woods has since opened its
membership to many international organizations and embassies. Located next to the C&O Canal and the Potomac River, the Center’s
spectacular natural setting is ideal for relaxation.

you can enjoy golf, tennis, soccer, swimming, and other outdoor activities on our 285 acres of manicured turf and mature trees. Our pavilion area can be used for outdoor picnics or gatherings. The Center’s Clubhouse boasts two dining rooms with scenic views of the golf course, a banquet room for special events and space for corporate meetings and events.
