🏐🖤 Senior Season Starts Now! 🖤🏐

This is the beginning of a special journey for our seniors… the start of their final volleyball season as Houston Mustangs.

Over the years, these athletes have dedicated countless hours to the game, grown as teammates and helped build the tradition of Houston Volleyball. Now, they get the opportunity to make the most of every practice, every match, and every moment.

We are excited to watch this senior class lead the way and create memories that will last a lifetime. Here’s to a season filled with hard work, determination, and unforgettable moments.

A huge thank you to our Houston High School Volleyball players for volunteering at FHES Summer Success Camp and providing auto detailing services for our amazing educators! Thank you Germantown Coordinated School Health for helping us get this set up.

Our student athletes didn’t just wash cars, they demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and a heart for service. Opportunities like this allow our players to give back to the community that supports them while learning the value of hard work and making a positive impact on others.

We are incredibly proud of these young women and the way they represent Houston Volleyball both on and off the court. Thank you for bringing your energy, dedication, and Mustang pride to our staff!

🏆 Congratulations to Coach Becky Pendleton on being recognized by Positive Athlete!

This prestigious honor celebrates coaches who exemplify positivity, leadership, character, and service. Selected from a program that received more than 15,000 nominations nationwide representing over 6,000 high schools, Coach Pendleton’s recognition reflects the lasting impact she has on student-athletes both on and off the court.

Positive Athlete honors individuals who are optimistic, put their team first, encourage others, show respect, embrace service, and lead with a true heart for others. These qualities are evident in Coach Pendleton’s commitment to developing athletes, building strong teams, and fostering a culture of excellence.

Thank you to everyone who came out for Houston Middle School Volleyball tryouts! We were blown away by the amount of talent, hard work, and heart we saw in the gym this week. The decisions were incredibly difficult because there are so many amazing athletes in this program.

To those who didn’t make a team this season, please don’t get discouraged. Keep working, keep playing, and keep believing in yourself. Growth happens every time you step in the gym, and we hope to see you back next year even stronger.

Congratulations to the players who made our teams! We are so excited for this season and can’t wait to get to work. It’s going to be a great year for Houston Middle School Volleyball! 🏐❤️🏐

To all the athletes who came out for Houston High School Volleyball tryouts, thank you for your hard work, energy, and courage this week. The amount of talent, competitiveness, and heart in the gym made this one of the toughest tryouts we’ve had. We are incredibly proud of every athlete who stepped on the court and gave their best effort.

For those who did not make a team this season, please do not let this moment define you. Growth happens through adversity, and this is only part of your journey. Keep playing, keep training, keep competing, and continue believing in yourself. Your dedication and love for the game matter, and there is still so much opportunity ahead.

To the athletes who earned a spot on a Houston Volleyball team, congratulations! Your hard work and commitment paid off, and we are excited to see what this season holds for you. Now the work continues as we build, compete, and represent Houston with pride.

Freshman volleyball tryouts are off to an incredible start! We’ve already seen so much hustle, heart, and determination from this group of athletes. The future of our program is looking bright with so much talent walking through the gym doors!

We are so excited to continue evaluating these amazing athletes and can’t wait to see what the rest of tryouts bring. Keep competing, encouraging each other, and giving your best every single rep. 🏐💪

Thank you to all of the middle school athletes who came out to our volleyball clinics this week! We loved getting back in the gym with you and are excited to see everyone at tryouts.

Reminder: If you have not turned in your physical and required paperwork, please bring it with you to tryouts. Athletes will not be allowed to try out without completed paperwork and a current physical on file.

We can’t wait to get the season started! 🏐

There’s something really special about Houston Volleyball. ❤️

This week at our middle school clinics, we had alumni from the Class of 2009 all the way to the future Class of 2029 back in the gym helping pour into the next generation. Seeing former players come back to give their time, energy, encouragement, and love to this program is such a blessing.

The culture, friendships, and family built here go far beyond the game, and these girls are proof of that we are so lucky to have alumni who continue to support, mentor, and inspire the younger players coming up behind them.

Love these girls and all they do for Houston Volleyball! 🖤🏐

We are SO excited to welcome all of our middle school athletes back into the gym! There’s nothing better than hearing the energy, laughter, and volleyballs bouncing again. We can’t wait to grow together, work hard, build confidence, and have an amazing season ahead.

Whether you’re brand new to volleyball or returning to the court, we are excited to see each of you and can’t wait to get started. Let’s make this year the best one yet! ❤️🤍🖤
