Men of the Match: Logan Schmidt, Shane Cox, and Tully Riner

Valley View won their third straight match, traveling to Stebbins and picking up a 2-1 win. Tully Riner headed in a corner from Brady Pickerell to get on the board first. Stebbins tied the match before halftime, 1-1. Shane Cox hit a shot from outside the box that deflected into the net with 11 minutes left in the match, ultimately being the game winner.

Valley View hosts Dayton Christian next Thursday in a big SWBL matchup. Go Spartans!

TONIGHT! We are hosting our parent/player interest meeting for the upcoming 2026 season on September 2nd at 7:00 PM in the K-12 commons area in the cafeteria.

This is open to any girls and their parents currently in grades 9-12 who are interested in playing softball this upcoming spring.

We will give an overview of our offseason workout plan, program expectations, fundraising, and provide an opportunity to meet the coaches and answer any questions.

Valley View traveled north to Newton tonight and picked up a 6-0 win in a hot, physical match. Shane Cox started the scoring with a goal before halftime. Out of halftime, Brady Izor scored from an assist by Shane Cox. Avery Miller scored a brace, with one goal being assisted by Shane Cox. Logan Schmidt scored the 5th goal off an assist from Brady Pickerell. Then Brady Pickerell capped the scoring by drawing a PK and converting the penalty kick. Xavier Izor and Jordan Shell combined for a clean sheet.

Valley View travels to Stebbins on Thursday looking for their third straight win. Go Spartans!
