Land Of Monkey Theme Camp Burning Man Theme Camp that started in 2012 Humanity is a process of becoming, one that we all practice throughout our lives. Not good enough? See?

We call ourselves monkeys not only to identify members of the camp, but to highlight that we are not yet fully human. Learning to listen, to be patient, to understand, to forgive and to be more merciful: these are among the skills we practice in becoming more human. In 2022, we will be inviting others to join us in this practice through a series of interactive experiences that explore ourselves, o

ur connection to each other, and how the 10 Principles help guide that discovery. By sharing these experiences with the Black Rock Community, we hope it will help all the monkeys of this city to fulfill their ontological vocation of becoming more fully human. Our camp gives meditation and yoga classes, deep talks, and fun moments. How about delicious and refreshing iced tea and lemonade? We knew you’d like it.

The Land of Monkey camp application for 2022 is live! Please fill this out by January 12th, if at all possible, so that we have an idea of who will be returning this year. We need to submit an initial “statement of intent” to Burning Man on the 13th with an estimate of number campers.
