🎉 We’re excited to announce several updates to the NTFA ❤💙 Board of Directors!

With these changes, our Board has grown to 9️⃣ members, further strengthening our commitment to growing the sport of floorball throughout North Texas.

After years of dedicated service, Melissa VanPatten has decided to step down from the NTFA Board. We sincerely thank 👏 Melissa for her time, commitment, and the many contributions she has made to the growth of our organization. Her passion and dedication have helped shape NTFA, and we wish her all the best! ❤💙

We’re pleased to welcome Casey Torretta as our new Board Secretary. We’re also excited to welcome Oscar Lopez to the Board as a Director, where he will also serve as our new Youth Director. 🤩 We look forward to the experience, energy, and leadership they will bring to these important roles.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who volunteers their time and talents to support NTFA ❤💙. Your dedication makes it possible to continue expanding opportunities for players of all ages and growing the game of floorball across North Texas. We’re excited for what the future holds! 🌟

📢 NTFA Board Election Results ❤💙

We are excited to announce the results of our recent Board of Directors election!

Please join us in congratulating Casey Torretta and Dylan Collins on their election to the NTFA Board of Directors, and Isak Angerstig on his re-election to the Board. ❤💙

Each of these individuals brings unique strengths, valuable experience, and a shared passion for growing the sport of floorball in North Texas. We look forward to the ideas, energy, and leadership they will bring during their two-year terms. 🤩

We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to Jukka Kotti 🥰, who is stepping down after two years of dedicated service on the Board of Directors. His commitment, leadership, and countless contributions have helped strengthen NTFA, and we are incredibly thankful for the time, effort, and passion he has given—and continues to give—to our organization. 👏❤💙

During this election, the positions of Vice President and Treasurer were also up for re-election. We are pleased to announce that Tara Nunez and Darryl Gross have been re-elected to those positions, and we appreciate their continued commitment to serving NTFA.

Congratulations once again to Casey, Dylan, and Isak! We look forward to an exciting future under your leadership as we continue to grow the game of floorball in North Texas.

🔥 He’sssss Baaaackkkk! 🔥

Please join us in congratulating Nick VanPatten on his appointment as the new NTFA Tournament General Manager! 🤩❤💙

Nick previously served as NTFA Tournament GM in 2022 and 2023, where he led our Nationals teams to back-to-back USA National Championships in both seasons. During his tenure, he also guided our Texas Open team to a 1st Place finish in 2022. 🏆

As the current President of NTFA and Assistant Coach of the USA men's team, Nick is passionate about developing players and raising the level of floorball throughout both NTFA and USA Floorball. One of his guiding philosophies is, "Iron sharpens iron," and he believes that challenging one another every day is the key to building stronger athletes, stronger teammates, and stronger teams.

We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude 🙏 to Matt Nunez 🤩 for his outstanding leadership over the past year as NTFA Tournament GM. 🌟 Under Matt's direction, NTFA earned a Silver Medal at the Golden Gate Cup and another Silver Medal at the Texas Open. 👏

Most recently, Matt assembled a roster of 11 dynamic players from both NTFA and N2FA to compete at USA Nationals wearing the N2FA logo for the first time in club history!! The team responded with an outstanding tournament, advancing to the bronze medal game and earning N2FA's first-ever podium finish 🥉👏. It was a remarkable achievement and another proud chapter in the continuing story of NTFA. 👊

Nick has also named Ethan VanPatten as Assistant Tournament GM. Together, they look forward to building on the strong foundation that has been established and continuing NTFA's tradition of excellence for years to come. ❤💙

Congratulations, Nick and Ethan! We look forward to seeing what this next chapter brings for NTFA.

Congratulations to on capturing the 🏆 1️⃣st Place title and for hosting an incredible tournament. NTFA knows firsthand the amount of work and dedication required to organize an event of this caliber, and the 2026 Nationals were truly outstanding. 🌟

From the excellent media coverage and professional venue to the strong turnout of teams from across the country, the event set a high standard and highlighted the continued growth of floorball in the United States. It was exciting to see so many players, clubs, volunteers, and supporters come together to celebrate the sport we all love.
A fantastic week all around—well done to everyone who helped make it happen! 👏
