Wrapped up our Tundra Swan season a few weeks ago, kinda lackluster last week and the youth day. The weather really took its toll the last few weeks of the season and it cost us our "perfect " season. We had 74 hunters and were able to wrap a tag on 73 of them. Our last hunter of the season was our unsuccessful one, although he had a few opportunities, we weren't able to get it done for him. Overall though, it was a very successful season and another season under our belt with new knowledge and experiences we can use for the future.

29 non-resident hunters
Smallest Swan was 8.75 pounds
Largest Swan was 18.72 pounds
Thank you to Scott and Freddie and all our landowners and farmers and all the calls and texts about birds. Looking forward to next season and welcoming new friends.

We have room for a couple kids, veterans, or active military tomorrow morning for a goose hunt. We will be in the Georgetown area.

We have a few open Swan spots for Saturdays youth hunt. If you know a youth hunter that has a Swan permit, please get in touch with me. Hunt is free.

With the Snow Goose season right around the corner, our schedule is getting full. We still have plenty of room for Swan hunters, both in December and January. Getting on any outfitters schedule at the last minute can be difficult. There are a few other outfitters we recommend for snow goose hunts but don't wait until the last minute to get a hunt booked.

There is still time to get your Swan permit application in the mail. It needs postmarked by Friday. Good luck if you do and come hunt with us this season.

Deadline for Swan permit applications is August 15th. Get the permit application off the Delaware E-regulations page under pdf downloads. Get it mailed this week and good luck.

I'm not sure how we got to where we are with the Swan hunts, but I'm pretty sure where we are going with it. Success drives every business and this is no different.
We had 40 hunting parties with 118 hunters and tagged 115 Tundra Swans...disappointed we are not 100%, but it was with 100% effort.
Out of the 115 hunters, we had 40 non residents, 21 youth hunters, and 9 lady hunters.
We learned a lot this season and hopefully it just makes us better at this.
To our hunters, thank you for giving us your trust, it is appreciated.
To everyone that recommended us to other hunters, thank you, that is the biggest compliment we can get.
