We have expanded to Firearm/ NFA and accessories retail sales (special orders) and can handle transfers if some

one chooses to purchases online. Myself and business partner are both Veterans (so it's no ruse when we state Veteran owned and operated) , and hold this very near and dear to us and believe in supporting our Brethren in Arms as well as the civilian community. As far as Firearm retail sales, we have the exact same distributors as these gun stores local to us. So, give us a shot before going somewhere else and over paying. We are a honest business with values, and want to offer fair prices with first class customer service.

TGIF! We wanted to share a few weekly wins of projects we did with Cerakote for our customers.

First is a stabilizer that was machined from a loved one for a customer's bow. He wanted to recognize them by incorporating our laser engraving and labeling it with a meaningful tribute. We believe this will be a great addition to the existing bow!

Second, we had a bolt action Re*****on Model 700 we breathed some fresh air into. When we dug into it during prepping, we found that under the factory old coating, there was a significant amount of rust. When cerakoting, you never know what you might find. But rest assured, we were able to remove it so the cerakote would adhere to the surface properly. Sometimes a nice black finish is all that's needed to refresh a firearm. Now it not only looks new, but has an extra strong layer of protection for years to come.

Third was a Beretta Model A300. We incorporated a burnt bronze, giving it an entirely new and custom look that will have protection for years to come!

We know there is a lot of talk about suppressors, SBRs, and SBSs right now about who qualifies and who doesn't, and the ATF has said, "Business as usual". With that being said, the ATF/eforms has announced a maintenance outage beginning Tuesday, August 18 @ 2315 (11:15pm) and continuing into August 19th 0045 (12:45am). Hopefully, during this maintenance period, they will implement updates to make it easier to navigate this injunction for those who qualify. If you have ordered a suppressor, SBR, or SBS and have had it transferred to Chris' Customs LLC, please be patient. This is what we are working with, and it's beyond our control.

We will continue to monitor and bring updates as we get them.

In response to the many phone calls we have received this week:

We here at Chris' Customs LLC are sure everyone by now has heard about the PSA/SS/GOA lawsuit vrs. ATF and the injunction removing silencers from the NFA. There is still a lot we as FFL/SOTs do not know before proceeding into this uncharted territory. Because of this, we reached out to our regional ATF and asked for guidance, and due to their response/advisement, we will continue with the Form 4 process in getting silencers approved until further notice. This not only protects the integrity and compliance of our licensing but protects our customers if the law should abruptly change back to the previous regulated process. Once the ATF releases an official statement and/or process, we will transition to the new over the counter 4473 for qualified members. We understand this may seem as an inconvenience or we do not appear to be a 2A friendly business, but there are a lot of backend unanswered questions that could affect everyone in the final ruling. So our goal is to protect everyone during this transition period.

Once we get further information, we will be sure to update all of our followers and customers.

TGIF! It's been a hot and busy week here at Chris' Customs LLC. We wanted to share a few weekly wins and finished projects that were completed throughout the week. Whether it's a firearm that has seen a lot in its life or wanting a simple upgrade to fit your personality or "look" you are going for. Cerakote is the way to go! Not only are there over 250 colors available, but the product has properties to protect against rust and corrosion. So it's a win-win situation. In both of these cases, the fi****ms weren't too bad; the customers just wanted upgrades.

We wanted to share a bit of knowledge we recently received from SC's Law Enforcement Division, pertaining to new and existing firearm purchasers.

Below, SLED has sent this document to every FFL in order to educate the public. Whether you are a new or existing gun owner, with every purchase, you will receive this documentation. Pursuant to S.C. Code Ann. 16-2-495(D), if you commit a crime involving a concealable weapon, and you do not have a state approved conceal permit (CWP), additional criminal penalties will be added to the underlying offense. As early as 2024, SC passed Constitutional carry and made it lawful both to open carry and to conceal a firearm on your person. However, with the introduction of this new SC Code, it is crucial that every individual understands the Rights and Wrongs pertaining to the responsible carrying of a firearm on their person.

With this being said, if an individual is interested in obtaining an SC CWP, here's more information about it.

* Minimum twice a month, SLED approved instructors provide this training free of charge. To check the schedule, please visit https://sled.arlo.co/w/schedule/page-5/ . If an instructor insists you must pay for it, then they have not been improved by SLED.

* You do not need prior experience to attend this class, although it is recommended. If a retail shop or private instructor is saying you do, then they are not associated with the SLED approved courses.

* You must have a South Carolina Driver’s License/ID or own real property in South Carolina to attend this course.

* There IS a required shooting portion of the CWP course, and you will need to bring a handgun, 25 rounds of ammunition for that handgun, ear protection, and eye protection (sunglasses and glasses are fine).

* If you do not own a personal firearm, then usually the instructor has some extra ones available. Please arrange that with them. A small fee might apply.

* Most importantly, if your CWP is expired, you DO NOT have to retake the class. You can renew your CWP online at the following link SLED CWP Renewal for up to 18 months past the expiration date, and by mailing paper application if it is over 18 months expired.

* As early as 2024, SLED has waived the fee to apply for a CWP, provided you have passed an approved course and submitted the required documents. If anyone is offering or attempting to charge a fee for this procedure, then they are independent of and not associated with the SLED/CWP process.

What this ultimately comes down to is that there are some out there who wish to profit from this procedure. Understanding what the law says, and the procedure to obtain a CWP is will allow everyone to understand what the associated costs are not necessary or required.

Who's ready for the 4th??? We certainly are, and just a PSA to our followers and customers, we will be closed tomorrow and on the 4th in observance of our Country's Independence Day. We will resume normal business hours on Monday, July 6th.

While we are here, we wanted to share our latest project. While it's just a barrel, it shows we don't always cerakote complete fi****ms. Sometimes, customers who are doing their own personal builds might have spare parts lying around. It may be the wrong color and doesn't fit their vision of the overall build. That's where Chris' Customs comes into play. We can take your item, cerakote it with over 250 colors available and make it work for you. In this case, the customer just wanted a basic black. So we used a favorite by many, Graphite black, to achieve this.

Another project finished, and another happy customer! Sometimes, incorrectly storing your fi****ms can lead to a degraded state of the finish. In this case, someone used a magnet to secure the firearm in a safe. As it was taken in and out, it wore out the finish. No worries, cerakote to the rescue! We refinished this pistol slide, making it look like new again and functioning even better than before.

Another project is leaving the Shop this week. The customer wanted a mixture of Bottomland and a custom camo pattern to break up the base color. We added just enough so it can get lost in the grassy fields! LoL J/K. The reality of this project was that when you get new buttstocks or attachments, then it doesn't match what do you do? Again, Cerakote comes to the rescue. While giving your firearm a unique look, it adds additional protection to it.
