It is with deep sadness for our loss, but great joy for our Daddy, that he went home Saturday, March 30th, to be with Jesus. As many of you may be aware he had been suffering with brain cancer. Whether you call it mystique or just plain legend, all who knew Don Berry, knew he had a larger-than-life personality and loved people like none other. He and my Momma taught my brother and I what it looks like to be gracious, compassionate, and generous to our core and we’ll do our best to continue to live out the legacy that he and my INCREDIBLE Momma have birthed in us.
He was able to live out the last few months of his life with Charlie, Sam and me. I’m forever grateful for the opportunity to spend that time with him, it was hard but also a true blessing.
We got to spend some time with him right before he passed on Saturday and we feel at peace that he is in Heaven now and the excruciating pain he was enduring is no more.
Our family would appreciate prayers for comfort as it’s never easy losing a Daddy like ours. A Memorial Service will be Friday, April 5th at 11am at the Methodist Church in Yancy, TX.
There will be no REFIT® classes this week! I’m so thankful for all of your prayers and encouragement. Our REFIT® family is a complete blessing.
XO~
