As co-owners, our partners are a vital part of this journey. While Christina Minten Racing and our expert trainers manage day-to-day care, our co-owners actively contribute to crucial decisions regarding their racehorses. We invite a select group of investors—particularly women who share our enthusiasm for Thoroughbred racing—to join us in this thrilling venture. Together, we can unite our talents and passions in what is affectionately known as the "Greatest Game Played Outdoors," while building a vibrant and supportive community around this captivating sport.
What We Offer at No Cost to You
1. Expertly Selected Racing Stock: All horses are handpicked and bred with the intent of winning at the highest levels.
2. Transportation: We will take care of all transport to and from the training facility.
3. Layup Services: When necessary, we provide expert care at our world-class layup farm, ensuring horses receive the attention they need during downtime.
4. Retirement Services: Once the time comes for retirement, we ensure a smooth transition for every horse back to the farm, preparing them for their next career.
This is an unprecedented opportunity to engage in Thoroughbred racing.
Partner Responsibilities
1. Cost Coverage: Partners are responsible for all training and veterinary costs, paid one month in advance.
2. Licensing: Partners should obtain their racing licenses through the National Racing Compact—a straightforward process that facilitates placement for races.
3. LLC Registration: If desired, partners may register their group as an LLC.
Christina Minten Racing retains ownership of the horses, allowing partners to hold a percentage of the racing team. This means if partners own 70% of the team, they receive 70% of the purse winnings, eliminating the need to bear significant upfront costs for purchasing horses.
Ownership Benefits
Partners will be recognized as owners in racing programs and statistics, enjoying all rights and privileges at racing venues, including press opportunities. If partners wish to invest in any horse for breeding or a stud career, Christina Minten Racing will accommodate this at fair market or appraised value.
In the event a horse is claimed, we will diligently strive to replace it with another competitive horse, as desired by our partners. While claiming is not our primary aim, it can be a strategic move necessary for achieving success.
