🌟 **Meet Paris!** 🌟

If you’re looking for a horse with personality, a sense of humor, and a heart of gold, Paris is your girl! This stunning American Paint Horse was born in 2009 and spent her early years dazzling in the show ring. Now, she’s traded in her ribbons for something even more rewarding—helping riders of all abilities gain confidence in the saddle.

Paris specializes in carrying our smaller riders, independent Hug participants, and those who require a wheelchair or need a little extra reassurance. She has a natural way of connecting with her riders, making them feel safe, seen, and supported. And let’s be honest—she loves being the center of attention!

Like any true queen, Paris has a bit of a high-maintenance side. She has **severe arthritis in her left knee** and requires special care, including knee and hock injections twice a year to keep her comfortable. She also wears custom shoes on her front feet—because, of course, she does! But in return, she gives us her all, day in and day out.

And every queen needs a best friend! Paris’s partner in crime is **Sandra**, her inseparable barn bestie. These two share a special bond, and if you see one, you can bet the other isn’t far behind.

Whether she’s making a nervous rider smile or showing off her playful personality, Paris is an irreplaceable part of our HUGS family. Give her a pat next time you see her—she’ll gladly accept the attention!

🐴💙 Have You Heard About HUGS? 💙🐴

You may have heard of our HUGS Program, but do you truly know the impact it has?

Since 1988, Hugs for Horses Therapeutic Riding Program has been changing lives in the Georgetown community—providing children and adults with physical, intellectual, and social/behavioral disabilities the healing power of horses. 🐎✨

Founded by Rona Jacobs, a professional horse trainer and riding instructor, HUGS is built on the belief that horseback riding offers unique physical, emotional, and social benefits—especially for those who are differently-abled.

Our horses help riders facing challenges such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, intellectual disabilities, sight & hearing impairments, and more. With every ride, they build confidence, strength, and joy. 💙

HUGS operates entirely on community support and donations. Without generous contributions from people like you, we wouldn’t be able to provide these life-changing experiences. 100% of donations go directly toward putting a child or adult on a horse for therapeutic riding, ensuring that those who need it most can benefit.

Want to make a difference? Ask us how you can help! Whether through donations, volunteering, or supporting one of our upcoming fundraisers, every bit of support helps keep this program going strong.

💬 Tell us! Have you or someone you know experienced the magic of equine therapy? Share your story below! ⬇️

George is home!! So far he seems ok and happy to be back. Thank you all for sharing!! 🐾💙

If anyone sees a Great Pyrenees in Georgetown on Hwy 51 area please let me know. He has 2 collars on, but they are hard to see with all his fur. We miss him terribly. Went missing around 7:45am this morning. He got upset when someone backed a car into him here at the barn and he ran off. Contact Rona Jacobs at (843)833-3929 or me at (843)344-3148
