Happy Friday Tater Tots!! Sorry its been a hectic week and my crew chief has been on the road alot this week so I have been busy as well. Quick ketchup about last weekends race. We are slowly figuring things out and managed to get 3rd in both classes. When the crew chief had a few minutes at home he hit the road and got next year's program buttoned down. If you see the picture we got a 600 to work on in the off season. So now we know we will be continuing racing we will be busy in this coming off season.

Now we have arrived at ALQMA-Abraham Lincoln Quarter Midget Association for the weekend for the last Midwest Lightning .25 Midget Series regional event of the year and my career. Hopefully we can finish strong in this last one!! Good luck to all my fellow THQMA here this weekend as well.

Good Wednesday Morning Tater Tots!! Sorry it has been a few since we have chatted so lets ketchup with what's been going on. From the attached photos you can see that this past Saturday we had the Terre Haute Airshow going on while we were racing dirt points race #10. We had a decent day other than bending an axle in the Heavy World car. We finished it in 3rd and then in Heavy World was 4th. Now on Sunday we had an adventure coming home from Terre Haute as it took 3hrs instead of the normal hour. The motorhome kept wanting to overheat so had to stop multiple time to let it cool as it has broke the fan belt. Hopefully we can have that fixed for this weekend or it will be a long day Saturday having to drive down and back the same day. As you can see from the other photos the golf season for school has started and Monday night was our first individual outing. So things have been busy with school, golf, band and racing. We have 4 more dirt point races and the fun night left at THQMA, 1 regional race with Midwest Lightning .25 Midget Series, 1 national race with NASCAR Youth Series and then the Shorey Shootout and that is a wrap on my Quarter Midget career. We have a couple of avenues we are looking at for my next step in racing and will post more when we know. As always I appreciate everyone that supports us in every way that they do. Good Monday Morning Tater Tot's!!! Well we just had race 3 of the Midwest Lightning .25 Midget Series Regional series this past weekend in Granite City. Let's ketchup on the activities. Got to town Friday evening and had install the loaner motor for the World car and got it done with no issues before the rain hit. Once the rain hit it carried over into Saturday and the only thing we got to do was run the World heat race. What a funny race that was as we started in the 7th spot and finished 4th but didn't record a single green flag lap. Never have I seen that happen but it is what it is. So Mother Nature won the day eventually and called it a day around 8 Saturday Night. Now move onto Sunday morning and we go out for our heat race in the 160 and this car feels strong but could use loosening up a little bit. We started 3rd and finished 5th in it. On to the features we go. With not having any data from the loaner engine we went into this race with blank ideas. However since the 160 needed to be loosened up lets loosen the World up just a hair. Boy that was the wrong way to go as with the loaner motor being strong it was just a loose goose!! Got ourselves 2 strikes pretty quickly spinning out on our own and found ourselves in last with just half the race left. Once a caution came out for someone else's issue we brought it in and tried to tighten it up (thanks Sean Swiger Racing). Well that helped it out a little and we started to really battle and once we made it up to 3rd spun it out again and cost ourselves a dnf for that class.
Now its time for the 160 and since the World was so bad loose we tightened this one up a lot. Yeah oops we tightened it up way to much and made it hard to drive. Finished that one in 6th. Want to thank Gary, Deidra and Tanner for housing us over the weekend as well!! Now we are home the next 4 weekends at THQMA so I need to be looking for a new motor for the World. Tater Out!!

Huge shoutout to Casey and his crew at YR Tireman for squeezing us in with our busy schedule and getting all new tires on the Tater Hauler. Got Granite City coming up this weekend and the NASCAR Youth Series nationals in Pennsylvania in September and wanted to make sure the rubber was good for those trips!!! Thanks again guys. 🥔

Just did the watermelon smash with Ross Chastain at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. NASCAR Youth Series
