Happy Monday my Tater Tot's. Well lets ketchup on what happened Saturday at our 1st ever 600 race. We met up with Geremie and Donna Dishman and had some lunch in route to the track and then got parked beside them. Once we got parked another retired from THQMA parked right beside us Audra Cowden so we had our little TH Corner. All in all there were a few drivers from TH that were racing there. Blake Dishman, Kyleigh Cox, Jaxson and Kynslee Boles and retired driver Danny Vincino. Thanks goes out to Ashley, Stachia and Z-Monkey along with Nicole and Quinlynn Harber for coming and rooting for all of us!!
So we are getting things ready to go and the car wont start for warmup. A little investigating starts and G finds that the hose on the fuelpump is about to fall off so he gets that snugged up and she fires right on up. Being our first non-quarter midget race we quickly find out that there is no communication letting the drivers know when you roll out so when we find out we needed to be on the track for our hot lap qualifying laps we got our just in time to take the white flag and get one lap on the track. Well that was a quick learning experience. SO with this being the first time on the track our time wasnt the quickest but it was a 14.754 for last place and the car that was ahead of us was a 14.177. Not that bad for the very first time. Ok so now start last in the 3 heat race and manage to gain 2 spots by the time the checkered flag waved. We now start 2nd in the B-Main, wow front row start in our first night. No nervousness here at all..... We take the green flag and move out of the way for the experienced drivers (we are only wanting seat time) and start settling in learning the line and the response of all the inputs that the car likes and doesn't and 5 laps into the B and POP the chain breaks. Well unlike quarter midgets we don't get our 3 laps to attempt to fix we are done for the night. Not what we really wanted to experience on the 1st night as we wanted to put some laps in. We knew it would be difficult to make the A-Main as there were 27 of us in the class and 7 wouldn't make it. Not finishing the race was the difficult pill to swallow as it was valuable experience we missed out on. Oh well that's the story in racing. We now have 2 weekends left in our quarter midget career. This Saturday is fun night at THQMA and our last race there and then Halloween Weekend is the Shorey Shootout.

Happy Tuesday Tater Tots! Just wanted to let you in on something going on. Go to Amazon.com and look for the Women in Motorsports: Dirt Edition Coloring Book. Here you will find you favorite Potato in it. Our book is arriving on Thursday so once we get it we will show you a pic of it. I would like if you all that purchase this to show me your final results of my pic. We don't have any skin in this game but are excited to be a part of this. Well my Tater Tot's its official. This photo here is from my last NASCAR Youth Series Quarter Midget points race ever at THQMA. Here are the retiring drivers in attendance presenting the colors during the national anthem. In the front row is Coleson from Swiger Racing, Cullen from Jeffery Racing with me and in back is Kyleigh from Cox Motorsports and Jax from Douglass Brothers Racing. We sure looked good out there!! I just want to thank everyone who has supported us in anyway whether financially or just reading all the posts. While the season didn't end with any championships we did take a lot of hardware home with us.
We still have a few race adventures left this year with hopefully trying our new to us 600 out at US 24 Saturday the 17th. Then its our fun night event at THQMA on the 24th and then one of the funnest is Halloween weekend at the Shorey Shootout. Also thanks again to our sponsors for supporting us in this.

Recap of this weekends race. It was our rain out points race at THQMA. We had an up and down night. Heavy 160 ran really good and was able to pull a 2nd place. Unfortunately last night was our last Heavy world formula race. Our Heavy World formula career is officially over. While running the feature race the fly wheel broke in several pieces and broke the motor. Next weekend will be our last points race running Heavy 160 at THQMA. We officially have 3 more event until we hang up our quarter midget career.

Happy Tuesday my Tater Tot's. Wow where has the time went??? Just seems like the other day I was posting about how the season is about to get underway and now its almost done. Well lets ketchup on what we have been up to lately. We just got back from Pennsylvania for the last dirt national event for the NASCAR Youth Series. What a chilly we weekend it was as the Nor'Easter came to town and made for an interesting weekend. Could not get the cars to tighten up as they were like driving on a sheet of ice. Thanks goes out to Milford and Nicole Harber, Ashley and Stacia, Richard from Bullrider, Michael Hussman and Tan-Man for all giving us the same advice on the changes to make. After we made those changes we were all excited and it seems like nothing helped. So not a very impressive weekend for us. Due to the weather we were actually done on Friday and stuck around to help Tan-Man out for his 2 A-Mains and the weather delayed us again big time. We then snuck over to Hershey and made some chocolate purchases and learned about the candy making progress. Back to the track for the racing action that didn't start till after 7:30 and watched Tanner take a 4th place in his Heavy Honda class so congratulations to him!! Next up for us is our last 2 points races THQMA the next 2 weekends. Talk to you all soon, Tater Out! 🥔
