What an amazing weekend for our Gracie Barra Georgetown team ❤️🥋

We are SO proud of every single student who stepped on the mats this weekend. The team had incredible performances across the board, and everyone fought with so much heart, composure, and determination. The growth we saw out there was amazing, and the results truly reflected all of the hard work being put in during training every day.

And while not everyone brought home gold, every competitor should be proud of themselves. Winning isn’t just about medals — it’s about showing up, facing challenges, and continuing to grow.

A huge thank you as well to all of the teammates, coaches, and training partners who helped everyone get ready for this competition. Your support, rounds, encouragement, and time matter more than you know. These results belong to the whole team ❤️

This weekend was a special one 🤍
Women’s open mat + competition day… and our team showed UP.

Yes—our competitors did amazing. But that’s not even what we’re most proud of.

What stood out most was watching them step out there and push past their limits—again and again. Completely outside their comfortable zone.
That’s the standard.

We teach respect—and we expect it.
In training. In competition. Always.

No ego. No trash talk. No tearing people down.
Just a team that works hard, supports each other, holds a high standards, and has FUN doing it!

We don’t need to be loud about it.
Our attitude sets us apart… and the results follow 🥋✨

• Last extra make-up class: Friday evening (19th)
• Saturday classes are always available to help make up missed days

It’s that time of year again — we’ll be taking a short break between Christmas Eve and January 2nd so our staff and coaches can enjoy the holidays with their families ❤️
But don’t worry! 💪
To make sure you still get plenty of mat time, we’re offering extra makeup classes before the break!
