Very excited to officially launch the page for the GTX Youth Sports Association. This started as what I thought was a very simple task in the spring of 2020, let's get the kids together and go play 3 or 4 tournaments before the next school sport starts up. What sounded so simple, turned out to be a ton of work just to figure out what steps to take and how to organize so we could deliver o

n the simple objective before 7on7 started late spring. This leads us to the mission of GTX Youth Sports Association. We want to solidify our efforts to form as a 501c3 organization so that the current team (GTX Eagles 2026) and any other future team for any sport here in Georgetown can more easily start, run and maintain a club or select team without having to start from scratch.

Great day of basketball! So much fun watching these young men compete. Took these guys out to the PAC Winter Challenge to get them some extra playing time and put to work all the practice they've put in during their 8th grade Benold season. Finished 4 and 6 with one team taking home first place and the gold in their bracket! Look forward to getting the spring GTX season started next Month!

We missed celebrating with the other team members today who were out putting their final stamp on Summer, but glad we could wrap on a high note! Everyones on to 8th grade football tomorrow!

Not only is tip-off for March Madness in 14 hours, but so is our tip-off to the GTX 7th Grade Spring Break Basketball Camp + Spurs Tournament weekend at the Round Rock Sports Center......... The GTX coaches may be just as excited as the kids to get back to club basketball!
