Meet Mel, one of our dedicated and purpose‑driven HOMEFIT Georgetown trainers.
With over 6 years of experience in the fitness industry, Mel brings a well‑rounded, compassionate, and empowering approach to coaching. Her journey began with a 200‑hour Power Yoga certification in 2018, followed by an indoor cycling certification in 2019. She became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer in 2022 and is currently pursuing her NASM Nutrition Certification to provide even deeper support to her clients.
Mel has worked with a wide range of clients through her time at Orangetheory Fitness and Casa Yoga, and now focuses on working one‑on‑one with individuals looking to improve strength, lose fat, boost energy, and build confidence. As a mom herself, she understands the challenges of balancing fitness, nutrition, and a busy life - which is why she specializes in creating realistic, flexible programs for busy women.
Her love for fitness extends beyond the gym - she enjoys staying active with her family and believes movement should be a joyful, lifelong habit.
