Hello Genoa Track & Field supporters! We are in the midst of a fundraiser. Our goals with this fundraiser are to replace old and worn equipment such as hurdles, starting blocks, and tents, and to purchase training equipment and warm up jackets for the team. *RESULTS FROM INDOOR STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS*
ETHAN WILSON is State Champion in the triple jump!!! Ethan broke his own indoor school record FOUR times throughout his field series on Saturday en route to a state title! Lillian Frias competed in the high jump and placed 6th (the highest finish for a sophomore)! Proud of you two for representing Genoa with class!

Comet men get the W on a thrilling last event (4x400m) over Rossford and Lake, while the women take second behind Lake in a hard-fought battle. Lots of PRs all around! Big meet coming up this Friday at St. John's Jesuit Titan Invitational with the best of northwest Ohio!

Comet Varsity men take 5th at Lakota Inv. while the women take 11th in a huge field (15 teams) yesterday. Consistency is a focus for both teams, while many improvements/PRs were set as well. Up next: HOME on Tuesday vs Lake/Rossford. Come check out the competition!

Congrats to our Middle Schoolers for their first-ever track meet at Woodmore Invitational this weekend! They competed hard, and are ready to see great improvements this season!

Comet men took home the 3rd place award at Perkins Pirate Relays last Saturday, while the women placed 5th. Great effort by the Comets!

Comet track & field returned tonight with two wins against a tough Maumee team. The girls took the win 75-53. Meanwhile, the meet came down to the final event for boys, with the Comets winning the 4x400m and prevailing in the meet 73-69. Great effort by all! It's great to be back! Next meet: at Sandusky Perkins Relays this Saturday.

Please help spread our reach by liking, following, and sharing this Genoa Track & Field page with all Genoa Track & Field alums, current athletes, families, and fans! This page (and the twitter account) will serve as a hub for all things Genoa Track & Field. Updates on schedules and meet results will be posted here, and we also invite you to share your meet pictures throughout the season! In other news, we have an ongoing project to compile the top 20 all-time performances in every event - if you have evidence of a result that you believe may qualify, please message us and include the supporting documents (note - all sprint events must be automatic-timed to qualify). Once we have a top 20 for each event, we will add the full archive to be viewed. This will be an ongoing project, so it is never too late to submit a performance for the top 20.
