🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Day 4 – Final Day of GKXC Camp 2026! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
What an incredible week of fun, teamwork, and summer miles! We wrapped up our final day of camp with one of our favorite traditions—a run to Get The Scoop at Pete's Castle Marathon for some well-earned ice cream! Thank you so much for helping keep our athletes cool on a very hot day! 🍦After cooling off, campers finished the week with a competitive and exciting game of Ultimate Frisbee. 🥏
Throughout the week, our campers demonstrated outstanding effort, sportsmanship, leadership, and positivity. Today, we recognized several athletes with special camp awards:

A huge thank you to all of our campers, coaches, volunteers, and families for making this year's camp such a success. We loved seeing new friendships form, confidence grow, and athletes challenge themselves each day.

🧦😎 DAY 3 OF GKXC CAMP! 😎🧦

Today's theme was Socks & Sunglasses, and campers showed up in style while taking on another fun-filled day of activities!

We kicked things off with a competitive Rock, Paper, Scissors Game before coming together for a 10-minute Big Group Indian Run, emphasizing teamwork and pacing.

The highlight of the day was our series of relay races, including:
🏃 Calisthenics Relay
🚶 Speed Walking Relay
🧦 Wet Sock Relay
🎯 Anything But a Baton Relay
💦 Water Balloon Relay

From speed and coordination to teamwork and plenty of laughs, campers gave great effort throughout every event!

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Day 2 of Genoa-Kingston Cross Country Camp! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Another great day of camp is in the books! Campers put their observation skills, teamwork, and energy to the test through two exciting activities:

🔍 Polly Spot Game – Our high school upperclassmen led the campers in a poly spot game where they had to say something that they have in common with others such as "move if you're wearing neon"

🗺️ Scavenger Hunt – Teams worked together to solve clues, explore the area, and complete challenges as they raced to find every item on the list. It was a great opportunity to build teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. Congratulations to the record breaking team that broke the record set last year in a time of 48 minutes and 49 seconds!

We're proud of the effort, enthusiasm, and teamwork shown by all of our campers today. We can't wait for another fun-filled day tomorrow!

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Day 1 of Genoa-Kingston Cross Country Camp is in the books! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

What a great way to kick off camp! Athletes brought the energy from the start and had an awesome first day packed with fun, teamwork, and competition.

Today’s activities included:
🦈 Sharks & Minnows – a fast-paced favorite that got everyone moving
🚩 Capture the Flag – teamwork, strategy, and plenty of competition
🤝 Trust Exercise with Wickets & Hurdles – athletes worked together, communicated, and built trust while taking on the obstacle course

A huge shoutout to our Campers of the Day for their effort, attitude, and leadership:

⭐ High School Camper of the Day: Andrew Cline
