THE 2016 JUNIOR GOLF ACADEMY IS OPEN. Sessions begin for both the Junior and Elite Junior programs June 14th at the Genoa Lakes Ranch Course. Learn the fundamentals and physical aspects of the game, including rules and etiquette, so that your youth will be welcomed and respected on any golf course that they play. The Academy Director of Golf Gary Louie and the staff helps youngsters ages 6-18 reach their full potential while having fun while providing them with a solid foundation for the future both on and off the golf course. NFL 2 time Superbowl Champion Jim McMahon will arrive in Carson Valley in a few hours to participate in the “Fore the Kids” Charity weekend and Golf Tournament this Saturday, May 14th at the Genoa Lakes Ranch Course, being the first official community event of the year for the Ranch Golf Course. Special Guest McMahon is also generously gifting a 3 day vacation at his guest home in Arizona, including 2 days of golf with him at his home course. The entire community is invited to participate and Bid on this once in a lifetime vacation www.forethekidsdc.com

On Sunday May 15th the Community and Senior Center will host Jim McMahon at a Free community event. McMahon will sign autographs and visit with the community from 11am to 1pm. Bring the family and visit with legend McMahon sponsored by Finish 3 Golf Academy. For more news and the lineup of weekend events raising funds for 900 youth in community programs that need funding. There will also be a special presentation in the community center parking lot that shouldn’t be missed.
