⚽ Thank You, Genoa High School Girls Soccer! ⚽

A huge thank you to our Genoa High School Girls Soccer program for hosting another outstanding U8-U14 Summer Soccer Camp! With 79 registered players, this was our largest camp to date.

Thank you to the coaches, players, volunteers, and campers for making it such a great morning. We especially appreciate everyone who helped with shirts, snacks, and drinks throughout the day.

It was a beautiful day, and the future of Genoa soccer is bright. Go Comets! ❤️🖤⚽

⚽ Genoa High School U8-U14 Soccer Camp Reminder ⚽

We're excited to welcome 70+ players this Friday, July 31, from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the Genoa High School practice fields (in front of Genoa Elementary).

🚧 Parking Update: Please park at the Genoa Middle School due to paving at the elementary. High school players will be available to help campers walk over.

🎒 Don't forget your soccer ball, water bottle, cleats, and shin guards!

🥤 Between 10:30-11:00 a.m., we'll hand out camp shirts, drinks, and snacks. We have a few volunteers already, but we'd welcome a few more to help during that time. If you're available, please comment below or send us a message.

🚨 Volunteer Help Needed – Soccer Camp Break Station! ⚽️🧃👕

We’re excited to welcome 70+ players to our U8–U14 Soccer Camp this Friday, July 31st!

📍 One area we could really use help with is during the 10:30–11:00 a.m. break. Players will rotate by division (BU8, GU8, BU10, etc.) through the shirt / drink / snack station, and we need a few awesome volunteers to:

✅ Hand out 1 drink + 1 snack to each player
✅ Use a checklist to distribute camp shirts to those who registered in time
⏰ Ideal timeframe to help: 10:15–11:15 a.m.
📅 Date: Friday, July 31st
📍 Location: Genoa Elementary Pavilion

⚽ Fall Soccer Update ⚽

Coaches received their team rosters this weekend and have been asked to contact families by Sunday, August 2.

📅 U8-U14 teams may begin practices anytime in August, with most starting around mid-August. U4 and U6 will typically begin closer to September to allow time for those fields to be prepared. Please be patient as fields are lined and porta potties are delivered.

📋 Coaches (U8-U14) will receive game schedules after the ESSL Scheduling Meeting on August 15. As a reminder, U4 is an instructional program and does not play organized games.

📧 If you have not heard from your coach by the end of next weekend, please email [email protected] beginning Monday, August 3.

⚽ U8–U14 Uniform Reminder - ACTION NEEDED! ⚽

Please check your email and look for the following email. If your player purchased the new uniform kit last season, you do not need to order again. These kits are expected to be used through Fall 2028.

👕 Only players who did not purchase a kit last season need to order.
⏳ Please note that YM and YL uniforms are currently on backorder, so place your order ASAP to allow time for delivery before games begin at the end of August.

✅ Required: Jersey & Shorts
⚫ Optional: Black socks (you can buy these locally or on Amazon instead)

While most of our Fall 2026 teams are now full, we still have a few roster openings remaining:

🔴 U6: 3 spots
🔴 BU12: 4 spots
🔴 U14: 2 spots

⚽ REGISTRATION IS CLOSED — WHAT'S NEXT? ⚽

Thank you to everyone who registered for the Fall 2026 season!

Over the next several weeks, our volunteer board will be working behind the scenes to finalize coach assignments, team formation, scheduling, and other preseason details.

A few important notes:

• The U8–U14 coaches scheduling meeting will take place on Saturday, August 15.
• U4 and U6 coach information will be communicated separately.
• Once rosters have been finalized and distributed to coaches, we will send an email and post an update with information on when families can expect to hear from their coach.
• Practices will begin before games, with the season kicking off later this fall.

Missed registration? While registration is officially closed, a few divisions still have limited roster openings. Visit genoasoccerclub.com/register to see if space is still available in your child's age group.
