A fabulous day with another great group of people. Kevin Stredney booked the trip for the two young boys birthday. They had a blast, we loved watching them reel in some beautiful walleye today. I finally was able to get Captain Ryan Legg out to help me out today. He did an awesome job, just as I had expected. He even gave me a ride on my own boat!

It was a little sporty out there today, but not quite what they had predicted. Our crew hung tough and loaded the ice coffin with green gators in a quick manner. Thanks Randy, Alex,Hunter,Jayden and Randy for joining us today. Thanks to Ben Alexander for the help today, much appreciated. 🎣 🧊 .

You could not ask for a more beautiful day today on Lake Erie in mid September. Trip # 1 was a group that has been going with me for a few years now. Trip #2 was a new group that Alyssa had booked for her dad and husbands birthdays. We had a great time sharing the day with both groups. Thanks Michael Rudd for the help. 🎣

Happy Labor Day !What a beautiful day on the water this morning. Thanks Elisa and Dr.Paul Morrison for spending the morning with us. Another group of 1st timers experiencing the walleye capital of the world.

Due to a miscommunication amongst our crew, 3 of the 5 drove to Port Clinton this morning to find they had gone to the wrong end of the lake. They arrived at the boat at 930 and we shoved off. The quality of fish was worth the late start. Another great day with this crew who had fished with us early in July.

Fishing continues to be great. We ran a trip Sunday and today. Both days the bite was unbelievably good. Sundays crew were relatives of mine that booked for a family outing. I ran without a mate and put PJ Stredney to work in his corner and I went to mine. We iced down 40 walleye and headed home. Thanks Terry Stredney , Kevin Stredney , PJ, Dave Alan and Edward Stredney for a fun time.

Today was Ray Pace , his son Hunter, Jeremy Bahen , Dean and Logan from the Scrappers baseball team. I think they hit it out of the park today. Once again I had no 1st mate so I let the boys get involved. What a great time. It was nice to catch up with some family and friends doing what I love doing. 🎣 .

I got a call from Tim, he hadn't been fishing on Erie since the mid 90s. He was looking to go out for only a couple hours to introduce his boys to the walleye capital. He was not looking for a full day as he was concerned his boys would lose interest. I assured him that they would be very busy. I did not run a 1st mate today,I let the boys run 4 dipsys and let them net the fish. These young men were on 🔥. They put the 🔨 to them. I bet Mr.Clean couldnt wipe the smile off their faces. Both young men said they are now hooked!! I absolutely love doing this, I can't get enough!!

An absolute beautiful afternoon out on the lake today. It was like we were on a private lake. I had a great time with this crew. Cindy won the money for the biggest fish today. Back at it tomorrow with the same group. 🎣.
