We had a great "learn to process deer" class last night. 21 attend and watched a deer go from hanging to packaged. Different cuts of meat, different ways to hold the knife, tools to use, how to grind.
This was our first time doing this class

Start at noon with a lunch and shooting starts at one.

Spread the word Nov 12 from noon till five is the Venturing Crew 223 annual pumpkin shoot.
$20 for members and $25 for non members.
Lunch included.

We sponsor the Kent State University Ashtabula Rifle Club.
College students and faculty come out to our club and get hands on training for safe firearm usage, handling, accuracy, cleaning and maintenance.
