A couple months ago, I picked up this 2008 Trek Alpha road bike. It was in rough shape to say the least. Rusty cables, worn components, etc. But with some new stuff, tweaks here and there, and quite a bit of elbow grease I got it working like new! I showed my cousin Luke the ropes, and we stayed up all night stripping down the bike and putting it back together during his trip down to New York. It was extremely fun to ride, yet unfortunately it was a tad big on me. I ended up selling it later on, but fixing it up was a great experience! I hope to do the same with all those who are willing to give HBR a shot! Thanks for reading! :)
