Friday night, we battled our way to the Semifinals, and the car was making solid passes all night.

Saturday, we doubled up and entered both classes. We made it to the 2nd round in Small Tire Budget Street, then turned around and fought our way all the way to the Finals in Trophy, bringing home the Runner-Up finish. AMSOIL INC. Deep Motors Midwest Megasquirt

We rolled into the Summer Nationals at Cordova Dragway with a 7.37 baseline from the previous weekend and got to work chasing numbers.

After making changes to the launch RPM and dialing in the shift points, the car kept picking up every pass. By the end of the day, we had knocked over two tenths off the ET and laid down a 7.16!

This new combo is starting to come alive, and we’re learning more every time we hit the track. There’s still more left in it, but we’re definitely headed in the right direction.

A 7.16 today… now it’s time to go hunting for that 7.0!

First race of the year with the new combo and apparently the gremlins came out ready to race too. Somehow we still lucked our way into the semifinals with 3 cars left at Builders Brawl in the Dirty 6’s class. The car was held together with zip ties, bad decisions, and pure confusion all weekend
