Sadly, we regret to announce that Genesee Fitness will be closing its doors effective December 1st. We greatly appreciate everyone who has supported the gym over the past couple of years!

We will be selling most equipment, which I plan to have listed this weekend. Please let me know if there is anything you’re interested in. Everything will remain in the gym until December.

📣 The sidewalk in front of the gym will be replaced starting Wednesday. The city will do their best to allow us to keep the doors open during the process. If the door is not accessible, please send me a text at (208) 892-4001 and I’ll give you an alternate way to get into the gym.

I’m trying to gauge interest in hosting exercise classes at the gym utilizing videos rather than having someone teach the class. They would vary in difficulty and style. I’m thinking to start, we’d do a Saturday morning class with the hopes of adding more throughout the week. Please let me know if you’d be interested!

Also, we’re getting a ::drumroll:: SAUNA today!! It’ll take a bit to create a space for it but hopefully it’ll be ready to go in the next few weeks.

Another new addition! This one comes with some precautions.

Who should avoid them?

Who should use caution?
• Elderly individuals
• Obese or overweight individuals
• Individuals with back problems
• Injured individuals

Please do not use until you’ve signed the form acknowledging these limitations and precautions.
