Community Playgroup is open to children 0-5 and their caring adult. Lots of toys, crafts and snacks.
We are in the gym at the Community Center 9:30 to 11:30am Tuesdays and Fridays!

Have you met Miss Kaitlyn yet? She is officially taking over as I retire after almost 15 great years of running Community Playgroup . She's been bringing her boys to Playgroup for years so definitely a familiar face! Thank you to everyone who has worked with me over the years (especially Keri who has been at the Center longer than anyone & can solve any issue, from misplaced keys to rogue birds!)
To all the families through the years, many thanks for making my job so much fun. These early childhood years go by so fast, even when the days are long, and I've enjoyed sharing some fun times with you & your kiddos. ❤️

Last week we talked some very well known books by the children's authors Bill Martin Jr., including Chicka Chicka Boom, Boom and Brown Bear, Brown Bear what do you See, and Polar Bear, Polar Bear what do you hear. Miss Amy from the Otsego County Library came in to do srory time on Friday, thanks Amy!
This week - love is in the air with all things Valentines! ❤️ 😍 💖

We have had 4 of the last 6 days for Playgroup closed due to the winter weather! But we had fun with a "hot cocoa" day (including a special yummy snack) and we got 1 day of our Penguin week in. This week we will be doing crafts based on the books by Bill Martin Jr., and there will be storytime Friday at 10am. See you then!

Check put this fun family event!

Our next destination hike is coming up this Saturday, February 8th from 11am - 2pm. We have plenty of snow so free snowshoes will be available for use. The trails are groomed so you can also cross-country ski. Each destination is different so if you came out for our destination hike in January come out and join us again and experience a different trail through the preserve.
