A Message to Our Foundation Fitness Community

It is with deep regret that we share some difficult news: the opening date of Foundation Fitness Center is currently unknown. Despite our best efforts, we have not been able to secure a building location that meets the needs of our vision.

This is not the outcome we hoped for, and we understand the disappointment this may bring to those who have supported and cheered us on. However, we are exploring the possibility of offering smaller-scale fitness opportunities, such as aerobic and adult dance classes, since finding a location to support these needs would be more feasible at this time.

If you would be interested in participating in these types of classes, we would love to hear from you! Your input will help guide us as we consider this option.

We encourage you to stay connected with us here on social media. While the opening of a full fitness center is not possible in the near future, any updates or progress will be shared with you first.

Thank you for believing in us, and we hope to see Foundation Fitness become a reality someday.

Want to Meet the Owners?!

Say Hi in the comments to Brent and Sierra Derby, the proud owners of Foundation Fitness Center in Ga***rd!

The couple met over 10 years ago in a gym right here in Ga***rd, bonding over their shared passion for physical, mental, and spiritual health. Since then, working out together has become their way to stay connected—like a healthy and positive version of date night. For them, the saying “Couples who workout together, stay together” rings true.

Sierra, originally from Atlanta, Mi, and Brent, who grew up in mid-Michigan, have traveled across the country with their business, Wood Line Productions, a yacht renovation company. Their travels exposed them to a wide range of communities and gyms, giving them firsthand experience with different fitness environments and approaches.

With this extensive experience and a deep love for Ga***rd, Brent and Sierra saw a great opportunity to open an all-inclusive fitness facility that offers a dynamic experience for its members. They understand that, as the fitness industry evolves, so must the way gyms connect with their members. One of the most crucial aspects often overlooked is truly listening to and caring for members’ needs. Brent and Sierra are determined to build a Strong Foundation—starting with their members' voices—and grow from there.
