Our team, and more importantly Zach stacked up a big win last week, and this may be the most critical one yet…..She said yes! An important part of success on the track is your partner supporting your dreams. Kaylee has been a part of MFR as long as Zach has, and here is to forever more. Congratulations! Heart break was the word of the day at the Soo, and unfortunately I’ve got to use it again. We were hard charging at Ga***rd, extending our lead each lap, but at lap 101 our crank decided to leave the party and left Zach sitting in turn 4.

This isn’t lack of heart… and surely not lack of effort. Just some bad luck breakage. I watched this team set the pole and rather than be content with that, they got to the track Sunday and made some major changes that had come to someone in a dream. Ok maybe it wasn’t in a dream, but the wheels of the crew were spinning and they thought there was more to be had. Unfortunately we don’t know how those changes would’ve worked as we were out far too early. 😞

Thanks for our crew, family, and sponsors that help us do this week in and week out. Back to the grind and prepping for Lincoln now!

Ivy says she first fell in love with snowmobile racing by watching Troy and Zack Dewald and Mike Steveson tear up the track. Seeing their speed, skill, and passion lit a spark in her. She didn’t just want to watch anymore — she wanted to be out there racing too. 🏁
