Burke Jammers Burke Jammers is a traveling basketball organization based in Burke County, NC.

The Burke Jammers provide opportunities for girls across Burke and surrounding counties to learn the game of basketball. Our mission is to teach, develop, organize, manage and offer youth players the opportunity to learn fundamental skills of basketball while instilling life-lessons and values such as character, team work, discipline, respect and sportsmanship.

We have opportunities for coaches wanting to practice their craft. Particularly for 4th grade girls and boys.

The 5th grade girls finished their season on July 11th going 3-0 and securing another 1st place tournament victory. This team exceed expectations this year. They consistently performed at a high level and they were a lot of fun to watch. We look forward to seeing what this girls will accomplish as they enter Middle School.

The objectives of Burke Jammers Youth Basketball:
- To provide an organized basketball program for all youth, both boys and girls of Burke County, and the surrounding area
- To promote and stimulate good sportsmanship in all participants
- To develop lifelong skills through instruction
- To encourage leadership through responsibility
- To instill a love of the game of basketball by participation
- To develop teams in various age groups to compete at regional, state-wide, and national tournaments
