Catchers working through a progression to help them feel the momentum of the pitch initiate their turn into their back side, setting them up to rotate efficiently and get quick, accurate throws off to both 1B and 3B 🔫

Small groups allow for each catcher to get quality reps with real instruction and direct feedback from our coaching staff.

And thanks to the incredible Reds Baseball Academy facility, we get plenty of space to make game like throws to all bases.

A look inside our last Bootcamp in Chicago, with Sanchy working with this group on unlocking their athleticism to block laterally and control balls in the dirt.

If you’re looking to improve your lateral blocking ability, and want to become the lock down blocker your pitchers and coaches trust, our Backstop Bootcamps are a great place to start.

You’ll work in a small group setting with multiple high-level catching coaches on the most important aspects of the position. Giving you a chance to learn, ask questions, get quality reps, work through challenges, and come out a more competent and confident catcher.
