NEW YORK, NY | Camila Howard converted a free kick in the 77th minute to lift the Scarlet Raiders past John Jay, 2-1 this afternoon to improve to 2-2 this year. John Jay, with the loss, fell to 1-1.

With graduation coming up it’s time we honor our seniors! First up for our senior spotlight we have Karyna Vargas!
Karyna played in the midfield and is graduating with a a psychology major with a sports psychology and women’s in gender studies double minor. After graduation she plans on working as a behavioral technician working with children with autism. After that she plans on getting her masters to become a board certified behavioral analyst (BCBA). Get to know Karyna and how she enjoyed her time at Wilkes!

What will you miss most about Wilkes/ being on the team?
I will miss traveling with the girls the most. Especially when we would beat a team on their field, the ride back home would be so fun. I’m also going to miss playing on Bruggeworth field and ringing the bell after every win.

10.What is the most outrageous thing you want to try and why?
Bungy jump off a bridge in a different country. I would love to experience that adrenaline like somewhere in China or across the world.
