Union County Women's Rugby We are the women's club affiliate to the Union County Mudturtle Rugby Club. All experience welcome!

Union County Lady Mudturtles was created in 2014 as the sister club to the Union County Mudturtles who have been prominent on the New Jersey rugby scene 1974. Until recently, there were only two adult women’s rugby clubs in the entire state of New Jersey, leaving former college and high school players the choice to travel to play, or to give up the game. As a member of the Union County Rugby Footb

all Club, the Lady Mudturtles are committed to provide an opportunity to play for all interested club members, ranging from experienced ruggers to those brand new to rugby. We seek to provide a competitive and social outlet for women in Union County while serving as the natural progression in growing the game through the Mudturtles youth and High School girls programs.

Chasing the standard! Hard-fought battle against the division two leaders. Nothing but respect for the game and pride in our progress.

Forward of the Match: Sydlo for her continuous action and leadership on the pitch. Being an active player in a majority of our rucks and keeping our defensive aligned. Doing her job to the maximum!

Back of the Match: Loz for her hard breaking lines and open field tackling. Her momentum keeps our offensive game strong creating options for our team to punch the ball through. New Haven also selected Loz as their player of the match.

Ninja Turtle: Alisha for her ability to come into the game like a fire cracker and turn up the heat on our offense! Nothing like a fresh set of legs to bring hell fire on the pitch when the squad needs it the most!
