Chun Kuk Do tm, which means "The Universal Way" tm is a Korean-based (Tang Soo Do) American hard style of karate. It is not all about fighting, it is about a way of life that teaches many different life skills necessary to survive and succeed in our ever changing society. Not everyone joins a martial arts class just to learn self defense. The art of Chun Kuk Do tm develops mental focus and concen
tration, emotional self control, flexibility, strength, speed, endurance, and self confidence. This system of martial arts is different from other forms of martial arts in that it blends aspects of karate, aikido, judo, jujitsu, Brazilian Jujitsu, and boxing for a total body exercise. The United Fighting Arts Federation tm (UFAF) is an organization founded in 1979 by Grand Master Chuck Norris. Chun Kuk Do tm is the style of UFAF since 1990. Grandmaster Chuck Norris is the Founder and Chairman of UFAF, and his brother, Master Aaron Norris, is the President of UFAF. The UFAF organization is made up of 12 regions across the United States, Canada and Mexico. Each Region has a Regional Chair and Regional Board that oversees testing, seminars, school applications and general operations for the region. There are over 90 schools located throughout these regions, all of which are taught by the UFAF sanctioned Black Belt Instructors in the art of Chun Kuk Do tm.
